Privacy policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data we process, why, for how long and what your rights are. For users in the United Kingdom, we comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who is responsible for your data
The controller is Brice Imele Nalem, a sole trader (micro-entrepreneur) established in France, SIRET 943 679 621 00012, 335 D Rue du Doyen Georges Chapas, 69009 Lyon (France). Contact for any privacy question: hello@relevento.com.
Representative in the United Kingdom: [UK representative: to be appointed]. As we are not established in the UK but offer our service to people in the UK, we will appoint a representative in the UK whom you and the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) can contact about our processing of your data.
If you request a quote (organisers)
Data: name, email address, phone number, company (optional), the details of your event and your messages.
Purpose: to pass your request to the professional you chose, or to the professionals you saved in the planner (up to 10, with a separate conversation with each), and to allow the conversation to take place. Lawful basis: performing the request you make to us, and your consent, given when you submit the form.
What the professional sees: your first name, your company if you give it, the details of your event and your messages. Never your email address. Your phone number only if you both agree to continue on WhatsApp. If you type a phone number or email address in a message before that agreement, we hide it automatically.
Retention: 12 months from the request; your contact details and messages are then deleted.
If you are a professional
Data: login email address, public profile data (trading name, description, photos, video, areas covered, indicative prices, references), private legal data (name or company name, company number or tax reference, address), WhatsApp number and, depending on your activity, certificates.
Purpose: to publish your profile, verify your identity and documents, send you requests, manage your account and, where applicable, your subscription. Lawful basis: the contract you accept when you sign up and, for verification, our legitimate interest in keeping users safe and in knowing who the professionals on the platform are.
Certificates: the document (for example an Enhanced DBS check for working with children) is deleted as soon as we have checked it. We keep only its date and the fact that it is valid.
Signing in with Google: if you choose «Continue with Google», Google gives us your email address, your name and your profile photo. We only use the email address to identify your account; we do not publish your Google name or photo and we do not access anything else in your Google account. Google processes this data as an independent controller, under its own privacy policy. You can still sign in with a link sent by email to the same address.
Private data: your tax reference, your address and your WhatsApp number are never shown on the website. Nor is your availability calendar: we only use it to avoid offering you requests on the days you have blocked.
Your answers to the questionnaire about your service (travel, duration, capacity, payment methods and so on) are shown on your public profile and help us match you with the right clients.
Profile statistics: we count visits to your page and clicks on «Request a quote» as simple daily counters. We keep no data about the people who visit the page (no cookie, no IP address).
Retention: while your account is active and, after that, for as long as legal and tax obligations require.
Reviews
A review can only be left with a personal, single-use link that we send by email. We send it in three cases: when the professional says you hired them through Relevento, or 15 days after the date of your event; when you ask for it with «Already hired them?» on the professional's page; or when the professional asks us to invite you because you are their client.
Data: your name and email address (to send the link), and the rating, text and name you choose to display. We publish the rating, the text, that name and where the review comes from («verified», «declared» or «invited by the professional»). Never your email address.
Purpose and lawful basis: to inform other organisers with genuine reviews. For the link sent after a request on Relevento, our legitimate interest in knowing the quality of the service; when you ask for it, your request; when the professional invites you, the professional states that you are their client and we use your name and email address only to send you that single link.
Moderation: we check every review before publishing it. The professional can reply publicly but cannot change or remove it.
Retention: the link expires after 60 days; the email address and name linked to it are deleted after 12 months. A published review stays online for as long as the professional's profile exists, unless you ask us to delete it.
If a professional names you as a collaborator
A professional can say that they work with you. If you are not on Relevento, they give us your name and email address and we send you a single invitation to create a profile. We never write to you a second time, even if another professional names you, and we do not write to you if you already have an account.
Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in introducing the service to professionals in the sector, with a single message that you are free to ignore. Your email address is deleted after 12 months.
Service providers who process data on our behalf
Supabase (database, authentication and storage; servers in the European Union), Vercel (website hosting), Resend (sending emails) and Cloudflare (bot protection on forms). When we take payments, Stripe.
Audience measurement: only if you accept it in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Ltd.) to find out, statistically, which pages are visited and how people reach the website. We do not measure pages whose link is private (your conversation, review links, administration). You can withdraw your consent at any time with «Cookie settings», at the bottom of every page.
Your data is stored in the European Union, which the UK recognises as providing adequate protection. Some of these providers are US companies. Transfers to them rely on the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the International Data Transfer Addendum to the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. All of them have signed a data processing agreement with us.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To exercise these rights, write to hello@relevento.com.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator (ico.org.uk). The French data protection authority (CNIL), which oversees us for users in the European Union, is not competent for complaints from users in the UK.
Minimum age
The service is intended for people aged 18 and over.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is controlled row by row in the database and documents are stored in private storage. Our team's access to data is logged.
